Be Prepared To Fail !

         One day, I asked a friend of mine, when it comes to teaching, because at that time I was thinking of raising up a successor for keyboardist, and I know it's going to be tough and timely.What he said to me was intriguing and amplifying my mind at first, and a few moments later, it comes to my senses, the saying goes like this, "NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, BE PREPARED FOR FAILURES".

where all the verse she posted there will make senses why this principle is hardly identified by those who fails.

         I failed before a couple of times in my college exam, and also some relationships, failures make us grow, why fear of it?

         If we desperate for success, be prepared for more upcoming and tougher failures, and it is how we uphold these struggles to Him, and faces it through grace, without fear.   

         There is no such thing as "BE PREPARED FOR SUCCESS", if we are not "PREPARED FOR FAILURES" and success only comes after failures, even if we success, it won't last, if our spirit of "BE PREPARED OF FAILURES" eroded.

My Life As a Programmer

Weekdays(Monday To Friday)- Working Days

7:30am to 8:00am
Struggling to come out from bed for work.

8.00am to 8:30am
Waiting for bus to LRT.

8:30am to 9:00am
Pack like a sardine can in the LRT. Really muhibbah~!!

9:00am to 6:00pm

The Dragon VS The Chameleon

Before I start writing this blog which refers to my blog title, I would like to introduce my friend's blog, Eddie's(Kean Ren's), http://eddiekr.blogs.friendster.com/my_blog/   

What he has written really something mindful to think about and sometimes fun too.

      There's a saying in Chinese says that, the dragon is powerful, but a chameleon last longer, but we, those innocent being which do not involve in such agendas have become victims. Both are wrong as a usage in authority for the people, because either the dragon or the chameleon, has its own agenda and motive. They're not to serve for the citizen where the citizens' support has been entrusted to, but because of comfort and wealth. *The wealth came from the public.

      From the book of John C.Maxwell, which talks about leadership, a good leader knows the upper level of the community issue and how to handle it, and at the same time caring for the people below. That means, a leader stands between them both, and to serve with dignity ,honor, love and grace. They stand truly between the hierarchy.

     Some may dislike of the leaders, because they didn't gain the respect of the people because of their wrong motive and agenda. And some did not make themselves clear of their direction to the people. Respect is the hardest thing to obtained, and we all know that is true. A true leader actually listens more and lower when their status are even higher, and act according what is right and for the benefit of the people. Machiavellian ideologies don't work anymore! Everyone deserve to be loved and cared by others, nobody deserve to be live under fear. All should be conducted with grace and humility. Since we are all human, we know that we are all equal in the eyes of God, we all have the right to live as a human being.

      Where there are human there will be politics.

      Let love ,unity and one focus of the people and for the people hinder away from politics but to stand in the truth and clear direction for the people.   

Automatic Negative Thoughts

       April 20th 2008:

       8:00am ~ 4p.m   
       Serving in the church, and then plan to play football at 5pm at a football field behind Hospital Mata Tun Hussein Onn. (Raining cats and dogs).

       5:15pm
       Arrived at the location, but no sight since the people say that they will come. On the other hand, brother Wei Pheng arrived only though tomorrow he's having an exam. When I got off the car, I realized i lock my car key in my car. Inform others about it, but ignore for a while for football.

       5:45pm
       Our "gang" spotted us and invited us to join the football along, realized the field was all filled with water and mud. Stand at my own position, as a right back, the place all filled with water and mud. Fell down and got myself all covered with mud, but not so bad. Too slippery and I can't run with my maximum pace, take off the shoes and play bare-footed.

       6:30pm
       Got my car again, think of any idea to open my car. The spare key is with sis Jenny, and my housemates Adam was at Carrefour that time. So, brother Wei Pheng, Kodi, and Petrus help along. By using tree branches, able to lift the car lock lifted up a little by little. I manage to tell Wei Pheng to go home since he's having exam the after day, that means today where i am writing this.

      7:30pm
      Still unmanage to get the car door open. Then brother Petrus find a bigger tree branches and Kodi stuck the tree branches into the car side to unlock the door. Cool~, using car key branches can unlock the car lock.

      I do wish I have the picture to show the way, but if i have it, i hope i didn't break the rules and regulations of any publications act since it is illegal.

      **The point of writing this is not about how unlucky I am or how lucky I am, but come deeps in our mind and senses, what comes first when we face challenges. At first I wanted to complain, where we human creatures are, whenever face challenges, our Automatic Negative Thoughts (ATN) erupted, but good thing is, God remind me, it is a small test for me. What I learn is that, sometimes we thought our mistakes cause catatrosphes, but if we confront the challenges rather than escape or complaining, we can become stronger person and also learn few new skills.

   Matthew 6:25-26

25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life^[b]

*Another lesson, plan everything carefully and uphold to Him. Cause a lot of things are out of our hand also, and we need discipline. Those who didn't plan, plans to fail.

I need more challenges.

Near Death

   On Wednesday morning (16th April 2008,5.30 a.m.), I felt the terror and pain of near death regarding to my body, felt like a heart attack, maybe due to physical inactivity that is quite pretty long time I didn't take part. Getting slugged lately to wake up in the morning.

   It reminds me life is short, and overwhelm of visions of past and future that I want to achieve comes into my mind, and also, the most important thing humanity and our loved ones. It was quite a discomfort(extreme pain i can't described), but the discomfort at the moment was a blessing i received and encouraged what I should do the most internally and externally.

   The first was, forget all the debts the people has owe me, what i mean is the debt that the people who has ridicule me from the start and uses me a laughing stock while I was still a small child, even in my secondary, primary or everywhere I went, and forget about what they have done, but also to forgive. For He has said :

Luke 7:41 - 43
41"Two men owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii,^[d] and the other fifty. 42Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he canceled the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?"

43Simon replied, "I suppose the one who had the bigger debt canceled."
      "You have judged correctly," Jesus said.

Now I have understood this verse, but not anyone can understand this. But I myself must also seek apology to the others I have caused to them. 

     In fact on that day, I also saw the future of us, regarding to money, everyone can earn money, without money, there will be problems, and without money there will also be problems, no one can either understand the truth, the "focus" on the money caused the problems. I realized myself that it is not the focus on money, success only comes when you do what you're passionate and interest about.

33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

So, its a big mistake all these while if we focus we just want to get rich, but we should have do what we love to do. And by using such talent, I believe anyone can achieve.

     A sister from Serdang, where she went through a coma, has woke up, two days ago, which reminded a sister that has died three years ago for we prayed for her healing, and it wasn't about healing or death, or live at all, it was all about care, love and hope. She died but at that time near death, i also being reminded of this verse:

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

13Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. 14We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18Therefore encourage each other with these words.

And her death is actually a blessing and eye opener for me to understand life.

   It reminded me again, live to love, and touch the lives of others, without discriminating or favoritism. And the golden rule as always : If you want how people treat you, treat the people how you want the people to treat you.

31Do to others as you would have them do to you.

I hope my message encourage others whether you're a believer or non-believer, we just to accept life and enjoy to the fullest by touching other people's life. That's the purpose of life.(^_^)

    

Blue Yesterday, Greener Tomorrow

              The leaves are always greener on the other side, how often do we heard that? When a bad time comes. The time of troubles, time of suffering, it all ended yesterday, with hope we advance to the future, where time has no direction itself.

               Everyone is challenging everyone with every one's life, directly or indirectly. But foreseen, the winner or loser, is the one who and lose, to the extend, both have use their time to compete each other, to the end, the world ends with a rectangle grave.

               Don't re-invent the wheel, because the things have already been invented long ago, appreciate it and use it wisely. Efficiency and productivity, comes with creativity and sensitivity management. And it proves to be fast whenever everything is created up and use it to invent a new thing.

               Life minus faith, minus hope, minus love, equivalent to ignorant death.
